Mr. Toshiyuki Yamazoe

Toshiyuki Yamazoe is currently Senior Advisor for International Business Relations, City of Toyama, Japan.

He is a member of the Office of Strategic Planning and Resilience which oversees Toyama’s engagement in the Rockefeller Foundation 100 Resilient Cities Program.

Prior to this, he had a distinguished career with the prominent Japanese firm Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Serving in various directorship and managerial positions in the areas of ICT, health insurance, technology, electronics, and the Mitsui Global Strategic Studies Institute, he has worked in more than 50 countries around the world and spent 12 years in the New York offices of Mitsui & Co., (USA), Inc. 

He was born in 1956 and graduated from Doshisha University in Economics.
