Katharine Thoday is the Director of the Clean Air Certification Scheme of Clean Air Asia.
She is a sustainability professional experienced in incentivising environmental governance and decision making.
She has worked cross-sectorally with government and the corporate and finance sectors both with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and as an advisor for the UK Departments of Energy and Climate Change and Environment and Rural Affairs, initiating new legislation, investment incentives and advisory services. She is a social and political scientist graduate from Cambridge University with a Master’s in International Natural Resource Management.
At the High-Level Seminar, she hopes to learn and share more about what circumstances allow for the most effective implementation of environmental outcomes at the city-level.
